Edinburgh

The Old Town

Princes St. Garden and Scott Monument on a beautiful day

The Scottish guard blowing bagpipe in the wind on Edinburgh Castle

On the way to Arthur's seat with one of my favourite girls in the world

The lake at Holyrood Park with white swans

These stained glasses at St. Giles Cathedral took my breath away

One of many closes in Edinburgh

Haggis with Whisky Hot Toddy (this drink is so good!) and Pooh Bear

Perfect way to start the day

From all the cities in Europe that I have been to, Edinburgh tops them all. Nature and modern architecture, Old Town and New Town, good food, cosy bars, cafe and restaurants with characters, specialty shops, and lots of history; all of these things make Edinburgh a really charming city. No wonder there were so many odd jobs advertisement on the notice board in the hostel where I was staying, I guess Edinburgh has stolen many hearts and made travellers stay for a while there.

I hope one day I could come back to Edinburgh :)
